The Senior Manager - International Trade Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing international trade activities, import/export operations, logistics coordination, and cross-border supply chain processes. The role ensures compliance with global trade regulations while driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and seamless coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end international trade and logistics operations.
- Oversee import and export documentation, customs clearance, and shipping processes.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse teams.
- Monitor shipment schedules, inventory movement, and delivery timelines.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handle trade-related risk management and issue resolution.
- Analyze operational KPIs and prepare management reports.
- Lead and mentor the operations team to achieve performance targets.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and sales teams to support business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in international trade, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
- Experience handling international suppliers and freight operations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
