Senior TechOps Engineer & Support


Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of the world's largest independent data provider and alternative research firm specializing in global hedge fund databases and research. Our reputable client is rigorously looking for Senior TechOps Engineer and Support who will work as an individual contributor supporting their Philippine office in Cebu IT Park, a day shift and working onsite arrangement.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Working on Azure and AWS (Design, Implementation and Support)
  • Managing, operating, and deploying on-prem and private cloud servers
  • Resolving Tickets and solve issues with the users
  • Working in a DevOps culture and tooling
  • Supporting Windows 10 and Mac clients
  • Setting up Windows 10 devices and configuring to standard builds
  • Will work on 0365 migrations



Key requirements include:

  • With 3-5 years related work experience in system and admin support
  • Experience in Azure and AWS (Design, Implementation and Support)
  • Ability to manage, operate and deploy on-prem and private cloud servers
  • Experience in Devops culture and tooling, scripting (Powershell, bash or another)
  • Experience in Office 365 (setup, config and troubleshooting
  • Experience in Okta and general security protocols
  • Ability to support Windows 10 and Mac clients
  • Ability to setup Windows 10 devices and configure to standard builds
  • Experience in O365 migrations
  • Experience in Firewalls (AWS, Azure and Fortinet)
  • Experience in Cisco Switch support and management
  • Experience with Active Directory and Windows 2016 +
  • Good general awareness of Cybersecurity practices
  • Should be detail orientated, and highly organized with project management skills.
  • An excellent communicator, good team player, who possesses strong analytical skills.
  • Team player - must be able to support business at all levels and work well with other departments.
  • Must be end user and customer focused with humble attitude and willingness to help.
