Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading Multinational Engineering Consultancies company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5 years' experience in software licensing for the job of Software Licensing Administrator. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Administer and manage software licensing across the company, ensuring software assets are legally licensed, accurately recorded, and managed in a compliant and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain software asset management systems and records, including license entitlements, supplier information, renewal schedules, and usage data, to support auditability, compliance, and informed decision-making.
- Coordinate the end-to-end software license lifecycle across business units, including acquisition, renewal, and retirement, working closely with Procurement, technical teams, and vendors.
- Support financial and demand planning by forecasting license requirements, validating business needs, and ensuring alignment between license consumption, budgets, and contractual commitments.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and support contract renewals to deliver timely, compliant, and value-for-money outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external software audits and conduct internal compliance activities, including identifying and remediating unauthorised software usage, to minimise financial and legal risk.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software asset management and lifecycle practices, processes, and controls.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships and communicate professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and vendors to support operational delivery and business outcomes.
- Contribute positively to team performance through collaboration, participation in operational activities and special projects, and alignment with organisational goals.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in ICT, or related discipline.
- Proven experience supporting software renewals, compliance activities, audits, or procurement processes in an enterprise environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret software contracts, license terms, and usage metrics
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience desirable
