Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is exclusively partnered with a multinational organization whom is well established in the development and industrialisation of the integrated circuit manufacturing equipments catering to the semiconductor industry, looking into expanding themselves here in Malaysia. Our respected client is seeking a Technical Director with about 15 years' experience to be the Malaysian lead of their office here.
Job summary
The Director is responsible for the entire Malaysian office, leading product designing and delivery, innovation, quality and all aspects of R&D in the telecommunications and semiconductor industry our esteemed client is in.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Lead the Malaysian office, assisting the Country Director in managing the technical aspects of the R&C centre/design house here in Malaysia.
- Developing strategies in covering the designing, architecture of hardware and software, testing and managing all company products.
- Working on reducing process design technology nanometre, to its lowest levels.
- Heavily involved in the IC design, circuit design, FPCGA, RFID and Analog designing.
- Managing CAPEX and OPEX projects within the company, ensuring P&L of the Malaysian office continues to grow in time.
- Continuously improve on ways designing within the R&D office is done.
- Manage stakeholders involved in the operations, especially with head office, vendors and key client
Key job requirements include:
- At least 15 years related experience in Semi-con industry. (At least 5 years in senior management role)
- Degree or Master's Degree holder or equivalent
- Candidate with chip design knowledge and experience in semicon industry, specifically in RFID/Analod, FPCGA, PMIC is a must.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Able to manage teams effectively, with his or her strong leadership skills.
- Experience in P&L management, CAPEX and OPEX project management is essential.
- Detail-oriented, meticulous, responsible, and able to communicate well.
- Good time management skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must
