Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable multinational organization whom is currently leading the front in designing, researching and innovating new technologies. Our esteemed client is currently in search of a Technical Equipment Manager/Metrology Specialist.
The Technical Equipment Manager will be responsible of managing a team of test engineers and metrology specialists, while understanding the in-depth test operations of the Company.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Responsible in division plant wide electrical metrology system maintenance, calibration, support and optimization to ensure accurate and precision measurement for quality control.
- Clear understanding on measurement system, environment conditions, machines parts interactions and control
- Work closely with team members from process engineering, product management and quality assurance to develop and optimize current metrology systems to meet all defined specifications.
- Inter-sites calibration alignment and improvement
- Strong leadership skills to lead continuous improvement programs and task force teams to improve yield and other quality indices.
- Handle and manage projects, assignments, and tasks given, and provide technical recommendations and solutions to continuously improvement measurement system performance to meet fast changing production environment.
Key Job requirements include:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline, preference on Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years work experiences in electronics industry
- Fabrication Metrology tools, Semiconductor Assembly/Test Metrology equipment for senior positions.
- Hands-on experience in automated machine electrical measurement systems,
- IR cameras and product testers on hardware and software optimization will be an added advantage.
- Test programming or software development experience for computerized test and measurement systems.
- Experience in programming language such as C++, C# or Python.
- Strong background and involved in electrical measurement tools failure analysis, debugging, calibration and development.
- Strong statistical analysis background to derive troubleshooting, improvement and conclusion for problem solving.
- Detail and vigilant on all changes or implementations made on the automation systems.
- Leadership skills with ability to spearhead projects involving personnel from various departments.
- Good interpersonal, communication skills and strong analytical strength to handle complex problems.
