Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with a clinical diagnostics company in the Healthcare industry to hire a Technical Sales Executive. This opportunity is based in Malaysia.
Position Overview
The role is focused on expanding the organisation's presence in analytical instruments and laboratory automation solutions. It plays a critical part in driving commercial growth and strengthening market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow gas generator sales in Malaysia via direct selling or collaboration with internal sales teams.
- Promote and sell laboratory automation solution, aligned with customer workflows and applications.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in analytical laboratories, research institutions, and relevant industries.
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, product presentation, quotation, negotiation, and closing.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical discussions, and solution presentations to customers.
- Coordinate product training, pricing updates, marketing initiatives, and business planning with principals.
- Provide market feedback, competitor intelligence, and customer insights to principals and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline updates.
- Participate in sales meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemistry or Science / Instrumental Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biotechnology or equivalent technical discipline.
- 2-3 years of sales experience selling equipment, instruments, or solutions in scientific, analytical, laboratory, automation, or related industries.
- Experience in business development or solution-based selling is an added advantage.

- Strong communication and presentation skills; confident interacting with customers at different levels.
- Good commercial acumen with negotiation and closing skills.
- Technically curious and willing to continuously learn new products and applications.
