Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a multinational company with a core focus on the hydraulic industry. Our client is seeking a professional with 10 years of experience in years of sales experience in selling hydraulic components, for the job of Territory Sales Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieving the annual order and sales budget for the territory.
  • Developing potential customer bases to maximize order intake and sales for products in the assigned territory.
  • Providing a regular flow of information to the company to aid product and market development.
  • Engaging, identifying, motivating, and managing a well-selected network of distributors to meet sales objectives.
  • Assisting with trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars where the company or product is presented and providing a professional presentation or product demonstrations to customers.
  • Assisting with regular business forecasting and annual budgeting.
  • Submitting regular sales reports on market trends and demands, competitor latest information, new product applications, new business opportunities, etc.
  • Act in a manner consistent with the scope and principles of all company policies, code of conduct, and core values.


Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or above, major in Engineering or Mechanical related will be preferred (Fluid Mechanics better).
  • At least ten (10) years of sales experience in selling hydraulic components or other flow control equipment in the field of construction machinery, mining machinery, agricultural and forestry machinery, harbour machinery, shipbuilding, oil and gas drilling platform, or other related industries.
  • Has good business acumen and commercial skills.
  • Be able to work under pressure, handle tough or emergency issues well by own capability.
  • Strong ability in Administration, coordination, problem analysis, and solving as well as high working efficiency.
  • Good occupational morality and devotion to the job.
  • Good computer skills, MS Office proficiency required
  • Good command of English or Chinese, both oral and writing.
  • Be willing to travel around in the assigned territory frequently.
