Our client is seeking a professional with at least 5 years' experience in safety related matters for the job of Training Superintendent. The job is based in Balikpapan, Indonesia.
Job Description :
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Training Supervisors and Training Specialists to ensure effective delivery of training and competency assessment programs.
- Identify organizational training and development needs by analyzing operational performance, competency assessments, business requirements, workforce planning, and existing training programs.
- Develop and maintain annual training plans, schedules, learning materials, and competency development programs.
- Partner with operational leaders, project management teams, and HSE personnel to identify project-specific and operational training requirements.
- Coordinate training resources and ensure trainers are effectively deployed to meet business priorities.
- Design and implement competency development programs to ensure personnel meet operational and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, review, and continuously improve training materials, assessment tools, and learning resources.
- Deliver internal training programs and coordinate external training providers where specialized training is required.
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, evaluations, and performance metrics, implementing continuous improvements where necessary.
- Ensure all training activities comply with applicable legislation, industry standards, company policies, and certification requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous learning across the organization.
Job Requirements :
- Minimum diploma degree
- Recognized trade and/or engineering qualifications
- Professional teaching qualification - minimum 3 years university equivalent
- Certificate IV
- OHS&E, construction, mining or equivalent qualification
- POM certification
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in training of previous supervisory experience required relating to mining operations and HSE
- Minimum 5 years' industrial experience in mining industry
