Treasury Operations Officer

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a most recognizable medical aesthetics and cosmetic dermatology chains in the Philippines. This client is looking for a Treasury Operations Officer that will be based in San Juan, Metro Manila.

JOB SUMMARY

  • The Treasury Operations Officer supports the day-to-day treasury operations of the company, including cash monitoring, payment processing, and bank transactions. The role ensures accurate and timely execution of treasury activities while maintaining proper controls and documentation.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cash Monitoring

  • Track daily cash balances across bank accounts
  • Update cash position reports on a daily/weekly basis
  • Assist in preparing basic cash flow forecasts
  • Flag potential cash shortages or unusual movements


Payments Processing

  • Prepare and process payments (suppliers, reimbursements, payroll funding, etc.)
  • Ensure all payments are properly supported and approved before processing
  • Upload payment files to banking platforms
  • Maintain payment schedules and monitor due dates

Bank Transactions &; Reconciliation

  • Download bank statements and transaction reports
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies
  • Record treasury-related transactions in the accounting system
  • Coordinate with accounting for proper posting

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain organized records of payments, bank documents, and approvals
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Support audits by providing required treasury documents
  • Follow internal controls for payment processing and cash handling

Bank Coordination

  • Liaise with banks for routine matters (transaction follow-ups, document requests)
  • Assist in bank account maintenance (forms, documentation, updates)

Process Support

  • Support improvements in payment processes and reporting
  • Assist in system updates and master data maintenance (e.g., bank details, suppliers)
  • Participate in treasury-related system or process initiatives


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or treasury support (fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered)
  • Skills: Basic understanding of accounting and cash handling processes
  • Familiarity with Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central) is an advantage
