Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an importation, distribution, marketing and sales company. Our respected client is seeking an Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in property accounting. The job will be based in Quezon City, Philippines.

The Accountant will provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

Job responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate reviews and process payables to avoid penalties
  • Review and process expense reimbursement of local sales personnel
  • Create and send monthly/quarterly VAT reports to local financial authorities
  • Review the automated and manual dunning process
  • Collect accounts receivables
  • Exchange and obtain information concerning customers
  • Check manually generated debit notes/invoices/credit notes

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
  • Must be a CPA
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a related field
  • Good knowledge of BIR, real property tax and government issuances
  • Has knowledge and experience with accounting statements, general ledgers, account reconciliations, AR reports, and post receipts
  • Has exposure to customs, costing, goods receipts & invoicing
  • Must be matured and independent in handling problems and tasks
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Proficient in Excel & other MS Office applications
