Executive recruitment company, Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of an international mechanical and electrical equipment trading company. Our respected client is seeking a professional with over 5 years’ accounting and office management experience from industrial trading industry for. This job is based in Bangkok, Thailand. 

The Accounting and Administration Manager will report to Country Manager in Thailand and another matrix-based country. This is a new and exciting career as who will be managing both accounting and operations activities for an international company.

Job responsibilities:

  • Complete all the financial accounting, management and tax reporting tasks and activities in compliance with company’s policies, Thailand’s statutory, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with auditors and prepare audit analysis reports, as well as prepare monthly management and financial reports
  • Prepare accounting documents and recording of transactions
  • Responsible for maintaining full set of accounts including reconciliation, cost accounting, and ensure inventory depreciation
  • Monitoring fixed assets register
  • Prepare forecasts, budget and variance analysis for management’s decision making
  • Continuously review and improve financial procedures, reports, systems
  • Define performance indicators and manage HR generalist activities
  • Responsible for payroll and office administrative functions
  • Contribute in Kaizen Team and continuously work towards cost savings and work improvement initiatives
  • Prepare timely GST and Tax filing


Job requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred/Diploma in Accounting with a mainstream polytechnic can be considered
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in keeping full set of accounts
  • Independent and proactive, possess positive attitude
  • Meticulous with an eye for details, good analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS office, especially MS Excel and MS Word
  • Familiar with logistics and supply chain is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of management level relevant experience in people skill or HR
  • Familiar with Microsoft GP Accounting Software will be an added advantage, basic ERP skills are a requirement
