Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Managed Partner. Our client provides licensed original AWS services, including cloud storage, disaster backup, server hosting, server monitoring and official AWS training.

The Technical Account Manager creates and executes strategies to drive the customers' adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lamdba, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more. The job is based in Taguig City, Philippines.

Job responsibilities:

  • Effectively represent the company and AWS within a customer’s environment, and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs and risk management
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, proactively keeping customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and proactively help team members meet and exceed team SLAs, quality standards and goals

Job requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Infrastructure/Troubleshooting/Systems Administration/Networking/DevOps/Applications Development experience in a distributed systems environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math or related discipline required, or equivalent work experience 
  • Client Communication and Presentation experience (public speaking, creation of content such as whitepapers, presentations, project plans or other written deliverables)
  • Complex technical troubleshooting skills in infrastructure services (OS, networking, cloud)
  • AWS Solutions Architect – Associate Certification 
  • Advanced experience in one or more of the following areas: Software Design or Development, Content Distribution/CDN, Scripting/Automation, Database Architecture, IP Networking, IT Security, BigData/Hadoop/Spark, Operations Management, Service Oriented Architecture
  • At least 3 years' experience in cloud technology
  • External enterprise customer-facing experience as a technical lead, with strong oral and written communication skills, presenting to both large and small audiences 
  • Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment 
  • Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings
  • Bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguity, including troubleshooting and problem solving in loosely-defined situations 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and compete priorities from a variety of internal and external stakeholders 
  • Ability to deliver results independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with a strong sense of ownership
