Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a leading international organization covering construction and engineering sector. Our client, a market leader playing agile role in their field, is seeking a sales driven executive with at least 5 years’ experience and strong network in Apparel & Footwear sector, for the job of Business Development Manager. The job is based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Business Development Manager will work proactively to penetrate into Apparel & Footwear sector. The successful applicant will be working in a very positive and professional environment. The company offer on-the-job-training by industry experts, good labor conditions and people development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work to develop a pipeline of project opportunities within Apparel, Footwear sector to achieve sales levels at to be agreed targets.
  • Develop new customer accounts, by showcasing company capability and services.
  • Establish, develop and maintain good internal and external contacts.
  • Prepare a marketing plan, including the formulation of a plan of action per client. In charge of marketing activities for branding purpose & increase company’s awareness on the strategy markets.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiating contractual agreements, in accordance with legislation and regulations, contractual agreements, within the framework of risk analysis.
  • Analysis the cases to find the way how to submit the proposals, convince clients and win the jobs
  • Maintain relations with Vietnamese and international clients and updating information about the clients in CRM, with the aim of generating continuity (repeat business).
  • Do customer after-sales service and settle all complains from clients.
  • Report regularly to the Commercial Director and Board of Management on the progress of marketing plans and account management.
  • Organize client events, create internal and external networking.
  • Do market intelligence

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • At least 05-year working experience with strong network in the Footwear & Apparel industry
  • Good sales skills and good knowledge of the market.
  • Willing to travel domestically on a regular basis to meet with clients
  • Good analytical ability, team-work
  • Self motivated and demonstrates initiative
  • Can work unsupervised, under pressure and meet timelines.
