Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a leading distributor of high-quality medical devices and supplies in the country. Our respected client is seeking a Business Development Manager who is responsible for achieving company growth by improving market position, maintaining good client relationships, and generating new business opportunities. This position will report to the Marketing and Business Development Head. 

Key job responsibilities include: 

  • Identifying market opportunities and distribution channels; creating new business opportunities for the company by prospecting for potential new clients
  • Developing the pipeline of the new business.
  • Screening of potential business deals, evaluating options, examining risks and potentials, and proposing potential business deals.
  • Identifying dealers in strategic areas/territories where the company can minimize operating cost and strategically penetrate some accounts; taps extensive network and carefully screen/select prospective dealers. 
  • Developing business relationships/partnerships, networks with customers and influencers by tapping customer industry/professional associations (regionally and/or nationally) and eventually establish strategic partnership with medical institutions and professionals, assists the different business units in securing better terms and in developing strategic relations with the Principals.
  • Presenting new products and services and enhance existing relationships, works with technical staff, participates in internal and external client debriefs.
  • Coordinating with different business units in coming up with a creative approach in selling products/services as package solution in meeting customer’s needs and requirements, identifying opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to sales.

Key job requirements include: 

  • Undergraduate degree in business, with graduate degree preferred 
  • Proven working experience in business development, with at least 5 years managerial experience.
  • Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, strong multitasking and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to change.
