International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a newly established cargo airline. Our client is seeking a CEO to be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.


The CEO is responsible for all aspect to launch a brand new aviation operations and scale up the business to be the industry pioneer.

Job responsibilities:

  • Board Support: Work closely with the board to plan and implement business plans and policies to hit the strategic and financial goals
  • Financial Management: Monitor profitability and growth to achieve financial objectives. Control yearly budget and ensure that necessary finance and other resources are in place.
  • Human Resource Management: Recruit key personnel, set up related policies and procedures. Supervise each management team to ensure that they are carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
  • Operations Management: Direct all the functions to ensure that service delivery standard conforms with the regulation and requirements.
  • Safety Management: Accountable for the safety management of aircrafts and the provided services.
  • Business Development / Expansion: Oversee overall business strategy. Create new service units related to business and control expansion cost.
  • Other relevant assignments from the Board

Job requirements:

  • Minimum of ten years of senior management experience in aviation business, preferably with cargo airline operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of strategic, business and management principles and practices.
  • Track record of establishing and scaling up a successful business in aviation industry.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, strong organizational and leadership skills; not to mention the ability of analytical and problem-solving skills timely and rationally.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to motivate and encourage staff, to deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders at different levels.
  • Highly-motivated self-starter, with a positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic, and critical attention to detail.
