Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a leading FinTech company. Our highly respected client is looking for a Country Business Development Manager to expand business in the Vietnamese market. The job is based independently (as a home-based role) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

As the Country Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for all annual sales targets through new client and partners acquisition, as well as growing the existing client base in the agreed areas and sectors.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation
  • Drive partnerships and merchants
  • Identify new prospects
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients
  • Follow up new business opportunities
  • Plan and prepare presentations
  • Communicate new products/service developments to prospective clients
  • Perform effective contract negotiations
  • Manage annual sales targets through new client acquisition
  • Identify new market segments
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless handover of clients, from lead generation to contract closure stage


Job requirements:

  • 8-10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in FinTech
  • Experience in the Logistics, Supply chain, E-commerce, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and Retail industries
  • Background in Technology would be an advantage
  • Excellent command of English and Vietnamese
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-oriented approach
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Happy to work in a home-based role (the candidate should be open to travel)
