Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the largest independent Software Defined Platform company in the world, delivering secure hybrid networking, cloud communications, and managed security solutions to enterprises around the globe. Our client is seeking a Data Analyst.

Job summary

The Data Analyst will audit and analyse source data from multiple systems on a monthly basis in Excel and Access database and, as requested, ad-hoc analysis. The winning candidate should have a high value in data integrity and information intelligence, as well as expert knowledge in Excel. The job is based in Mandaluyong City, Philippines.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Prepare source data via Excel and/or CSV file into Access database.
  • Audit billing and network source data.
  • Investigate and reconcile any source data discrepancies.
  • Maintain master tables for data mapping.
  • Produce monthly reports in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of reporting metrics and statistical analysis for various internal customers.
  • Must be able to meet or exceed reporting deadlines.

Key job requirement includes:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred, plus one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years business analyst in accounting and finance environment or education + internships exp
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret process documents and technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including proportions and percentages, using a combination of actual data and assumptions.
  • Ability to solve practical but complex problems, given a variety of variables where only limited standardization may exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Possess advanced to expert knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Access databases.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
  • Must be able to travel to the United States for training within first 3 months of employment
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Ability to handle and execute with tough deadlines
