Executive recruitment company, Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a leading tooling and fabrication solution provider in Asia. Our respected client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to drive change management and process improvement to improve productivity of company’s P&L, as well as finance department. The job is based in Ayudhya, Thailand.

Finance Manager oversees and distributes financial resources of a company. He or she will take care of budgeting, forecasting, and management advisory to make sure that company’s day-to-day external and internal accounting and finance functions are in lining with business’s objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design internal control systems to ensure the safeguarding of company assets including financial policies setting.
  • Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
  • Perform and lead budget/forecast process and participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership.
  • Predicting future financial trends and provide advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted to management and stakeholders.
  • Supervise department and manage the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Represent the accounting function in acquisition analysis and acquisition integration (where applicable).
  • Oversee tax compliance and working with tax specialist for company optimal tax filing.
  • Drive processes change for efficiencies in overall accounting, finance, and business in order to improve productivity.
  • Involve in strategic accounting initiatives and effective cash flow management.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and year end closings.
  • Co-ordinate the annual independent audit in Thailand including preparing financial statements as required by Thailand law.
  • Ensuring Financial Statements and reports are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Interpreting and reviewing financial information. Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
  • Review month end accounts, identify and correct errors, identify and compute significant accruals, apply accounting principles to transactions and recommend revisions in accounting procedures to ensure conformance and compliance with applicable Thailand laws & polices and General Accepted Accounting Principles

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Several years of accounting and finance experience in manufacturing industry. Understand manufacturing set up and its cost structure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, SAP, Corporate tax & GST/VAT compliance as well as treasury functions.
  • Company secretarial work and tax matters.
  • Familiar working in Matrix organization using ERP system. CPA will be a plus
  • Interpersonal & problem-solving skills, Financial & feasibility analysis in manufacturing.
