Finance Manager

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of multinational group of companies. Our highly respected client is seeking a Finance professional with at least 5 years' experience in financial management for the job of Finance Manager. The job is based in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines.

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the preparation of annual budget, budget implementation and fund plan. The winning candidate will also responsible for the coordination, connection and inspection of specific internal, external audit and feedback audit opinions and other tasks assigned by the management.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Cooperate with the department manager to improve the construction of the department's financial system and daily accounting management, so as to improve the management and accounting level of the department;
  • Responsible for the preparation of annual budget, budget implementation, fund plan, etc.;
  • Responsible for the inspection of fund income and expenditure and the verification of accounts;
  • Responsible for the carry-over and closing of the financial system at the end of the month and the preparation and submission of financial statements;
  • Responsible for the coordination, connection and inspection of specific internal and external audit, and feedback audit opinions;
  • Responsible for cooperating with the bank to provide relevant statements and materials;
  • Responsible for checking tax returns, tax ledger and timely summarizing and reporting;
  • Other tasks assigned by the leader

Key job requirements include:

  • Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in either Math, Finance, Economics, Accountancy or Legal Business Management; Professional qualification e.g. CPA, CFA, CMA or master’s degree will be an advantage;
  • Excellent in English and in Mandarin written and verbal communication;
  • Has familiarity with national unified accounting system, construction, real estate accounting and tax policies;
  • At least 5 years working experience in financial management and at least 2 years working experience in the same position.
  • Accounting experience in large and medium-sized construction and development companies;
  • Proficient in financial accounting, proficient in using financial software and office software, able to independently complete the preparation of financial statements;
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, high team spirit, anti-pressure ability and execution ability.
  • Proficient in Office software and financial software.
