Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a leading international organization covering energy, construction, engineering sector. Our client, a market leader playing agile role in their field, is seeking Government Affairs Sales Lead. The job is based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Job Summary:

As Government Affairs Sales Lead, Your role will be to explain our commercial offering to Schools and Public Sectors the timelines and benefits of our solar rooftop proposal and be key influencer throughout the sales, survey, contract, build and operation phases. Your priority will be to work with the Head of Strategic Deals the sales strategy across Schools, Government Buildings, and Public Sectors

Job Responsibilities:

  • It will be your job to identify and develop rooftop solar sales opportunities within the Schools, Government Buildings, and Public Sectors.
  • Be an Influencer with strong contacts with Business owners and Government officials
  • Setting up networks with groups within the Government, Public Sector and other membership organizations.
  • Guiding the clients through the delivery process and being their first point of contact for any questions that they may have throughout the sales or delivery process.
  • Work with a team of sales professionals and develop strategy for market segmentation
  • Providing weekly progress reports to the Head of Strategic Deals
  • The company’s representative office will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, but you will be expected to travel extensively across the whole of Vietnam.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • At least 5-8 years of proven track record in business development or sales to Schools, Government Buildings, and Public Sectors.
  • A very strong network and connection with Business owners and Government officials
  • Keen to work in renewable energy and dedication to the project.
  • Local to Vietnam and able to to travel extensively
  • Be an organized, self-starter who is comfortable cold calling/cold visiting.
  • Hungry for success, and always wanting to do the best job possible.
