Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a leading fintech company. Our highly respected client is seeking for Head of Compliance with at least 7 years of experience in Compliance function in baking industry. The job is based in Bangkok, Thailand

Head of Compliance is mainly responsible for collaborating with Legal and Group Compliance to roll out regulatory compliance intranet (database).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Have practical understanding of and hands-on experience on financial service laws and regulations in relation to Bank of Thailand, Security and Exchange Commission and Office of Insurance Commission.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Group Compliance to roll out regulatory compliance intranet (database)
  • Coordinate with Legal to develop regulatory compliance procedure & facilitate Business Unit to embed regulatory compliance procedure in BU process
  • Coordinate and work closely with business units and relevant regulators to make sure that the company fully with relevant rules and regulations
  • Develop and maintain Regulatory Compliance program
  • Assist Regulatory Compliance Working Group on company regulatory compliance strategies and to oversee regulatory compliance across company
  • Conduct monitoring and Regulatory Compliance Review to ensure consistent compliance across company
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting of compliance risks regarding Regulatory Compliance
  • Communicate and facilitate regulatory compliance risk assessment by first line
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Compliance working group, Legal and Business Unit in maintaining as well as lively update the Regulatory Compliance policy & procedure

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to coordinate with regulators and represent company
  • Have practical understanding and hands-on experience of financial service laws and regulations in relation to Bank of Thailand, Security and Exchange Commission and Office of Insurance Commission
  • Ability to provide proactive, creative compliance solutions with a business-oriented mind
  • Ability to learn new areas of compliance required to support the dynamic and fast-changing business requirements
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to gain credibility and manage expectations within the organisation and work well in cross functional team settings
