Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a reputable consumer finance company. Our client is seeking a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to play a significant role in our fast-growing company. The job is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 

The Head of Financial Planning is responsible for analyzing the financial performance of the business, establishes monthly financial forecast, budgetary goals, aids in business decision support and strategy, partners cross-functionally to deliver value, provides recommendations on profit, expense, and cost-saving opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Annual financial planning including quarterly forecast covering costs, expenses and profitability with due interaction with various business line leaders.
  • Develop and monitor P&L and financial modeling for all product/channel/segment initiatives. Report key performance indicators, metrics, and scorecards for performance and costs improvement.
  • Report monthly financials and other key performance parameters. Provide operational support/cost improvement studies to enable effective management and operations efficiency.
  • Undertake any specific projects, assignments and/or track and update management with the best analysis. Establish scalable and automated solutions based on internal requirements and business needs.
  • Ad-hoc decision support for various global initiatives/improvement projects. Implement effective and efficient financial control processes and coordinate with internal teams to solve problems when arise.
  • Summarize financial performance and translating complex financial concepts into simple and logical presentations for internal/ external audiences.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor degree holder in finance/accounting/banking, or other related majors.
  • 5+ year experience as similar position, preferably in financial services business
  • Demonstrated analytical, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with strong leadership and ability to influence other business leaders
  • Savvy stakeholder management, managing relationships and expectations with strong scenario planning and financial modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to manage and prioritize multiple projects with tight deadlines
