Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a leading global automotive company. Our respected client is seeking a HR shared services and COE executive of the highest professional standing with experience in an equally dynamic and fast paced industry sector. The company is based in Bangkok and offers flexible office working hours.  

The Head of HR will be responsible for overall HR strategy and the direction for HRM, COE and C&B and run parallel, all shared services and support operations to include HRIS and project management for the whole group. They will also represent the country management team and coordinate closely with regional office while reporting to the Managing Director and managing their own team in a dynamic multinational working environment.

Job Responsibilities

CoE HR Head Responsibilities

  • Lead overall HR country direction inclusive of Centre of Expertise and acting as HR Country committee and Country Management Team.
  • Handle country crisis management as well as other corporate HR collaboration across business units.
  • Represent country management team to lead and control strategy and direction regarding skill, value and people in both short- and long-term practise.
  • Coordinate with respective HRBPs from different functions in supporting employee engagement, welfare, health & safety

Country HR Services Head Responsibilities

The role will lead an operation of HR share services in all supported functions for all legal entities. You will proactively lead the team to approached business units across Thailand and ensure the alignment with corporate direction and strategy in the following areas;

  • Payroll, HRIS and C&B administration – lead in-house operations of payroll, HR information systems & reward administration and coordinate with corporate HR to carry out global projects
  • Recruitment – identify sourcing strategy, lead in-house recruitment team and employer branding activities
  • Relocation services -accommodate full process of expatriate management and locally hired foreigner’s relocation, starting from prior entry to Thailand, VISA and work permit, home & school search, expat cost management and exit process from Thailand.
  • Training administration – arrange training & development programs according to the business needs and the training master plan and ensure compliance with laws concerned for training and development
  • Constantly review the business model of HRS to enhance the deliverables to business and to strengthen the service quality
  • Implement and communicate HR policies and processes in the organization

Country CoE, Compensation & Benefits

  • Lead and coordinate the country development, harmonization and implementation of C&B strategy, policies, methods, tools and guidelines across business units in Thailand
  • Managing salary review process in Thailand – budget matrix etc
  • Member of the global C&B network – main point of contact with global C&B for any changes or new initiatives which needs to be implemented
  • Any ad-hoc request from the HRCC on benefits review or request from business area

Job Requirements

  • Thai nationality
  • Possess academic degree or higher in HR, business or related
  • Distinctive experiences in HR for all functions as well as HRM, project management, shared services, C&B and COE
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving working environment
  • Proven HR support foundation with experiences of shared services team management
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS, digitalization and change transformation
  • Familiar with regional cross functions working system
  • Fluent English communication skills 
  • Growth mindset, proactive with good interpersonal skill
