Our client, the industry leader who creates innovate technology changing, is seeking an expert with at least 15 years of experience in products transfer, continuous improvement for Head of Industrial Engineering position. The job is based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Job Summary:

The Head of Industrial Engineering is responsible for directing and supporting the Industrial Engineering team in production/process engineering, lean manufacturing. This role requires a proactive leadership style and the abilities to both lead by example and build collaborative teams, while effectively championing initiatives to drive and support continuous improvements of the business and organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop and implement a Production/Process Engineering & Industrial Engineering strategy which contributes to the company strategic directions.
  • Manages, supervises and directs the activities of new product and process introductions.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency, cost, product quality, and worker safety by analyzing current methods, new methods, new technologies and cost reduction activities in selected areas.
  • Provides guidance and support for electro-mechanical assembly, mechanical parts introduction/procurement, component support, PCB/PCBA introduction as well as all necessary related tooling and capital equipment.
  • Leadership & Management: recruitment and retention, employee and team development, performance management.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering philosophies and processes. Proven track record in new product introduction, process development, leadership, and change management.
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline (i.e. mechanical, mechatronics, automation, industrial engineering).
  • 10-15 years of of related experience in the electronics manufacturing industry with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication in English.
