Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a growing animal health and nutrition company. Our respected client is seeking a Key Account Manager who will bring in new accounts and manage existing accounts for the Luzon region. The job is on a field work basis and reporting will be done in Makati office once or twice a month.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Create, develop and execute the Business Plan, Sales & Marketing strategy (pricing, commercial and marketing expenses, to operating margin) to cover the LUZON Region,
  • Plans, organizes and prioritizes the following activities on a regular basis:
    • Key account prospecting calls, appointments, follow-up, closing,
    • Feeders: Feeder Group Meetings (FGM), Proof and Testimonial collection, other demand creation activities,
  • Leading the key account Sales team
  • Develop and follow technical support service to new and existing clients (Farm audits, follow-up, seminars, trainings, etc.),
  • Develop and maintain strategical alliance, partnership and relationship with Key Accounts and other partners,
  • Supporting accreditation of new customers, credit investigation, credit terms and credit limits,
  • Achieve DSO target set by the management. Monitor and follow payment collections, deadline and debt,
  • Monitor customer’s demands/complains,
  • Planning and control the sales cost,
  • Lead the organization of seminar, promotion, technical support...
  • Interface with other internal departments; Customer service, Logistic, Marketing, Finance, R&D, Labs, etc.
  • Obtain competitive Information (products, pricing and promotional activities, feed samples for analysis, Proof and analyse Profit Value Chain and Distribution Set-up), and submits regular reports on market trends,
  • Assist and Communicates order information to Sales Admin,
  • Organize and lead Sales review and planning meetings, forecast sales and develop strategies for closing sales cycles,
  • Submits Sales team weekly/monthly reports on the following:
    • Plan for the week, including demand creation activities and the planned result,
    • Result of the previous week’s plan,
    • Timely submission of Expense Reports, Cash Advance Liquidation,
    • Proper maintenance and upkeep of assigned Company car and equipment’s (Cellphone, Weighing scales, Overhead Projector, Camera and others issued and accountable to the Sales team);
    • Safeguard and update documents issued by the Company such as Control Book, Speed Reports, Price List, Customer Profile, and others.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years’ experience in sales of animal feeds
  • Must have the portfolio and network in the animal feeds industry
  • Must be strong in analytical thinking, attention to detail, dependability, integrity, adaptability, flexibility, collaboration
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Willing to work on field and report to Makati office once or twice a month
