Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a global pharmaceutical company. Our highly respected client is seeking a human resources (HR) professional with at least 5 years of experience in sales and non-sales training in the pharmaceutical or healthcare-related industries for the job of Learning and Development Manager. The job is based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with HR Director and Department Heads to ensure that high potential employees (Succession plan) get developmental support
  • Identify competencies for critical job positions in the affiliate and be able to conduct competency and training needs assessment among all departments
  • Design and implement creative and relevant programs and update training curricula as needed
  • Conduct planned training programs
  • Customizes Lilly’s global modules for specific affiliate needs while preserving instructional integrity of the modules
  • Conducts orientation sessions and arranges on-the-job training for new hires
  • Serve as consultant to the sales force as needed
  • Conduct training programs for the office staff and sales force on a regular basis

Job Requirements

  • MBA or other advanced degree in related field (education) preferred
  • Previous experience in similar role or HR background preferable
  • Training experience (especially in pharmaceutical industry) preferable
  • Experience with staffing/recruiting preferable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to energize and engage
  • High energy with ability to manage through uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Strong leadership to be able to inspire and motivate others
  • Being flexible, adaptable, and open-minded with holistic thinking and decision-making process
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution and communication skills with a keen ability to effectively interface with multiple levels.
