Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a well-known company in Electronics Components Manufacturer. Due to the expansion, they are looking for a qualified Manufacturing Director for the factories at Binh Duong province, Vietnam.

The Manufacturing Director will take full responsibility for daily operation to ensure efficient and safe work operations; implement action plans for achieving production targets and maintain a cost-effective production process.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage operations budget to ensure minimal production cost and optimal product quality
  • Review production processes and procedure to ensure they operate at highest possible efficiency
  • Establish and implement safety programs in line with company values and policies.
  • Utilize cost-benefit analytical techniques in improving operational efficiency.
  • Conduct timely management meetings to evaluate the business performance and strive for continual improvement
  • Oversee the hiring, training, mentoring and guidance of operations personnel to ensure a capable workforce
  • Conduct employee performance appraisals to identify areas of limitation in order to provide coaching and guidance for the team
  • Oversee the long-term planning and initiatives geared towards enhanced operations
  • Prepare and submit to upper management regular reports of plant operations

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Engineering, Operation, Manufacturing or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in electronic/automotive engineering environment with strong experience in engineering, operations, and manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience in operation and plant management
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants
  • Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer technology
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Proven track record in cultural change management
