Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of the leading Medical Devices companies in the country. Our respected client is looking for a Public Relations Manager with professional experience in public and media relations management.

As the communications lead for the company in Indonesia, the Public Relations Manager will represent the organisation to stakeholders, interested parties, and the public. They will serve as the company spokesperson to the media and the related stakeholders, working in close collaboration with senior leaders and the country management team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Setup PR strategy and plan implementation for Media relations management
  • Lead brand communications and PR that enhances the company's competitive advantage, position and market share through multi-channel media
  • Support branding programs and identify appropriate media opportunities to increase brand awareness and drive company reputation
  • Increase positive corporate coverage of the organisation in Indonesia
  • Work closely with the business and make the PR proposals/plans according to the marketing strategy
  • Work to advocate the company throughout leadership positions among target stakeholders (Media, Employees, KOLs, Professional Organisations, and NGOs) through strategic communications and programs
  • Communicate with the HQ PR team to confirm media message and proposals
  • Execute media plans and events, supporting 7-12 new product launches annually
  • Review and approve the daily content for upload to social media
  • Engage and inspire employees through developing and executing internal communications and activities
  • Develop and distribute the leadership message
  • Organise internal communication events, townhall meetings, new brand internal launches, etc.
  • Work with local partners (e.g. NGOs, Academia, Government Associations) on citizenship (CSR) programs, building on the company's scientific expertise to benefit the healthcare of the community
  • Proactively control and mitigate crisis risks
  • Monitor media trends and provide crisis reports to the GM, global management team and PR team
  • Communicate with HQ for approval

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree focused in Public Relations, Marketing or Communications
  • 10 years of experience managing PR/Corporate Communications functions/agencies
  • Demonstrated experience in building, conceptualising and executing integrated PR communications campaigns
  • Experience in Crisis Management, Risk Mitigation and handling Public Affairs
  • Possesses strong relationships with mainstream corporate, consumer & country management teams
  • Ability to propose, lead and drive projects, and navigate through multiple business perspectives
  • Fluent across all offline and digital channels, complimented by a strong understanding of different channel roles
  • Experience managing, developing and growing teams as an inspiring leader
  • Excellent English skill, both written and verbal
