Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of an international FMCG company. Our highly respected client is seeking a professional with strong Marketing experience in FMCG industry for the role Marketing Director. The job is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 

This role will be responsible for building and developing the marketing strategies to promote sales revenue and brand positioning of products in Vietnam market.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze and evaluate market information gives recommendations for building a marketing strategy for the whole company following the business plan and MKT budget from time to time.
  • Forecast of FMCG industry market trends: Image, brand ... according to the business plan and strategic goals of the company.
  • Develop short, medium and long-term marketing plans according to the Business Strategy in each stage.
  • Personal Brand Management according to the business plan and regulations of the Company.
  • Market research, coordinate with manufacturers to develop designs, develop new products according to the business plan and regulations of the Company...
  • Build and manage marketing department:
    • Make regular plans (yearly/ quarterly/ monthly) for the marketing department
    • Develop an overall marketing strategy, direct the detailed construction of each brand and channel monthly/ quarterly/ yearly.
    • Implement Marketing activities to achieve the best efficiency monthly/ quarterly/ yearly....
    • Negotiate and find support partners according to the business plan and budget.
  • Lead, train and develop a team of staff in the marketing department

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing /Business Management or related field. Master is preferred
  • At least 15+ years of experience in similar position and solid experience in FMCG brand building and positioning
  • Strong at Consumer insights / research and translating insights into strategic relevant business implication
  • Proven track record for designing, implementing and tracking impact of strategy, plan execution
  • Brand mindset, experience in translating brand positioning into campaign idea and detailed messaging by channel, by touch points
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration and engagement. Proven success in managing cross functions to deliver brand / business results (with Trade, Sales, internal control, regional MKT, Finance…)
  • Driven, result oriented
  • Self-starter, aggressive for constant improvements
  • Capable of timely and fast, accurate deliverables
  • Fluent in English
