Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of the fast-growing flavours and fragrances industry. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 8 years’ experience in the fragrances industry for the job of Marketing Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include: 

  • Identify and recommend key opportunities based on customers, channels
  • Conduct marketplace analysis to identify and assess new product launches.
  • Work directly with sales, evaluation, GBD, and perfumery teams to create submission storytelling, concepts and presentations for clients and internal meetings on assigned projects and collaborating through all phases from beginning through execution. Create client presentations.
  • Keep up with new lifestyle movements and trends, connecting the dots on different sectors (beauty, fashion, food) to forecast future opportunities for clients.
  • Work closely with other country marketing teams and regional leads to effectively support and drive our Fragrance strategic priorities
  • Develop winning and proactive insights to support our customers across different End-Use Markets (Fine Fragrance, Fabric care, Homecare, Air care, Personal Care, etc.)
  • Deliver best-in-class engagements by addressing consumer and customer needs, creating a differentiated experience for customers through the use of market data, consumer research, and digital tools in a creative and innovative manner
  • Update and share locally relevant market and consumer dynamics to commercial, technical, and regional teams to help shape strategic priorities

Key job requirements include: 

  • Degree in business management/marketing or similar technical discipline.
  • Have at least 8 years’ experience in marketing or brand management for Fragrance Industry
  • Proficiency in English is a must
  • Strong project time management skills; ability to manage multiple details and deadlines in a matrix organization
  • Good analytical skill
  • Background in research methodology is a plus
