Our client, the market leader in their field with innovative and dynamic manufacturing environment, is seeking a hands-on engineering expert with solid technical knowledge and process engineering experience for the job of Principal Engineer.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will report directly to Group Technical Director and work across functions, countries in international/local projects. You will provide technical expertise to ensure the operation that meets all quality, cost, and efficiency requirements. Core challenges include leading continuous process improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading international/local projects to deliver manufacturing/business goals
  • Identify ways to improve safety, quality, yields, and the capability of existing processes while also assisting in the scale up and implementation of developmental products/processes.
  • Interface with cross functions and countries to successfully bring new concepts to execution.
  • Coaches & challenges new ideas, actively balances risks and opportunities and drives decisions.
  • Acts as a mentor, shares knowledge and fosters talents among the global and local engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering. Master Degree is desirable.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience related fields in electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience in processing engineering, continuous improvement, making innovation with solid technical knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience scoping projects with business level impact.
  • Ability to work without guidance or supervision.
  • Having international experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
