Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a world leading engineering company. Our respected client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years of project management experience in the manufacturing sector for the job of Project Management Office Manager. The job is based in Samutprakarn, Thailand.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will manage and monitor all work operations in the business unit for client projects. Ideal manager will contribute to the overall project management, encourage its results-oriented implementation according to project timeline, and make management decision in Thailand.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all commitments made relative to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics.
  • Review of project’s cost and profitability
  • Prepare and control operational budgets. Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the business unit
  • Lead the project with cross-functional team of engineers, production, planning and other concern parties through various project/program phases.
  • Be the key channel of communication for internal customer not only local sites but also oversee team and act as escalation in the event of issues in program/projects
  • Plan the use of human resources, BCP resource and daily resource capability, unit level) as necessary. Delegate task and accountability Supervise staff, Monitor and evaluate performance
  • Operation improvement, formulate plan and strategy for operation to meet client objective
  • Liaison with BU head or Executive Management. Assist with information for development of strategic plans for operational activities, Implement and manage operation plans.
  • Improve scheduling of personnel and equipment to improve productivity and mine performance.
  • Develop and improve appropriate employee development / training plans in a manner that best meets the current and future needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Engineering degree
  • Project Management Professional certification holders are preferable
  • More than 7 years working experience in production project management or program management
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, and large and complex companywide projects.
  • Good command in English (read, write and speak) should be at expert level.
  • Must understand technical engineering terminology
  • Proficient with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Project & PowerPoint)
