The kKey focus of role is to drive the Quality and Service Excellence Journey, supporting our Customer, growing prosperity, and consistently delivering result through continuous improvement. The incumbent will achieve this through implementing company values, setting quality objectives, and assisting personnel KPIs to support the Company Business Plans.

Job responsibilities:

  • Create and drive Zero Complaint – Zero Defect  
  • Demonstrate commitment to Quality through leadership and involvement with implementation of agreed initiatives 
  • Ensure all appropriate actions are taken to comply the company's Quality procedures and legislative requirements 
  • Actively participate on Projects and execute initiatives to support Quality Review the Quality Management System implementation and achieve Business Goals
  • Ensure key structures and resources (Owner, Group and Tools) are sufficiently provided to achieve Zero Defect and Zero Complaint journey 
  • Define and enforce standard guidelines respected by all stake holders by measuring compliances on a regular basis
  • Evaluate the creation of supporting policies, procedures and tools together with QC teams and others department, allowing effective analysing and reporting
  • Liaise with the Risk and Training Manger to provide quality-specific training to staff throughout the organisation
  • Lead internal audits for conducting compliance assessments of product/service quality 
  • Measure the consistencies of the Quality Management System to ensure inbound and outbound inspection implementation remains effective and supportive
  • Design Quality Measures to focus on Value-Added Quality Activities and Core Strategic Objectives 
  • Create and review the effectiveness of the Quality Scorecard to align with customer expectations throughout the value chain
  • Assess the lagging outcome measures to lead predictive indicators and connect the quality data to continuous improvement activities 
  • Create quality measures to link individual efforts and support organisational objectives
  • Create transparent access to quality data for everyone in the organisation
  • Promote a culture of quality 
  • Create regular quality practices and achievements campaigns
  • Train all new hires on basic quality management principles 
  • Share knowledge & information and identify improvements 
  • Act as an alternative source of solutions to compliance matters

Job requirements:

  • Knowledge and Experience in Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of OHS and Environmental legislation 
  • Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management 
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 – Environment Management Systems 
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Management Systems
  • Knowledge of Product Safety
  • Knowledge of Halal requirements 
  • Knowledge of Supplier Audit Management Systems
  • Proven capability in managing compliance requirement
  • Strata 1 certification, with minimum 7 years' experience on HSE and 3 years in a managerial position 
  • Certified as Lead Auditor – Quality Management Systems 
  • Awareness of Food Safety Management Systems
  • Awareness of ISO 9001
