Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the top Food distribution companies in the Philippines. Our respected client is seeking a seasoned Regional Distribution Manager with significant and solid experience, preferably in the FMCG industry. The job is based in Cebu, Philippines.  

Job Summary :

The Regional Distribution Manager is responsible in over-all relationship and distribution management of the assigned region. This role will ensure execution of regional strategies and maintain performance excellence of the team.

Job Description:

  • Executes reviews and evaluates team’s performance in terms of target, placement and collection to determine areas of improvement and enhance efficiency and productivity in order to achieve goals and objectives and ensure continuous profitability and growth of the organization. 
  • Conducts random trade check, route ride and audit in assigned area of responsibility to validate distribution and placement level to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards and programs set by the organization. 
  • Ensure that assigned ADP in the whole region is aligned with the companys’ business goals and objectives by conducting meeting and business review to enhance productivity and profitability levels of partners. 
  • Provides guidance and motivation to team members thru constant and effective communication by coaching, mentoring or counseling in order to identify areas of improvement and address issues and concerns as needed. 
  • Oversees work outputs of ADMs by conducting regular meeting and coaching sessions to ensure that policies, procedures, standards and programs are properly implemented to achieve company goals and objectives. 
  • Assists the National Sales Manager in planning and executing effective sales programs and strategies to achieve and maintain more productive and profitable sales operation. 
  • Implements and evaluates marketing programs by conducting post analysis review to ensure effectiveness and suggests improvements in systems and tools as needed. 
  • Ensure proper alignment in team’s structure by assessing skills and competencies to identify strengths and weaknesses and suggests training and development programs for immediate team members. 
  • Suggest budget allocation for assigned area of responsibility by reviewing current work force structure and admin related expenses in order to maximized and managed resources efficiently and resolve issues and concern as needed. 
  • Actively participates in seminars, meeting and other learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies in performing the tasks assigned. 
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time. 

Job Requirements:

  • Sales & Marketing, above average numerical and literacy competency, business acumen. 
  • Knows the courses of actions for self and/or others to take to ensure that work is completed efficiently in view of the strategies & plans of the company. 
  • Collaborates within organization, and externally by continuously identifying and acting on opportunities that will create success for the company and customers. 
  • Initiates actions to achieve greater results for Availability & Visibility (AVIS); being proactive and taking the initiative to achieve positive results. 
  • Influencer, extrovert, enjoys interacting with people, goal oriented, high achiever, team player, independent 
  • College Graduate with good communication and analytical skills
  • Sales experience on Fast Moving Consumer Goods preferred
  • Undergone training in planning, customer service management, negotiation and persuasive skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, basic category management and people handling
