Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing Multinational Consumer Goods Company, our respected client is seeking a professional sales person with at least 8 years of experiences in area development & territory management of FMCG business for the job of Regional Sales Manager - Sumatra. The job is based in Medan, North Sumatra of Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Contributes to the development of sales targets based on forecasted market trends and distributor analysis and advises and consults senior management on current developments and trends, including distributor response/reaction.
  • To plan and support the distributor network with the promotion of local, regional and word-wide Events and Incentives for Indonesia, including organize corporate HOM, STS and training for distributors to grow the company’s sales and distributors base.
  • To expand and improve the communications channels between distributors and the company by providing accurate, up-to-date and reliable information.

Key Job Requirements Include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with Business or Sales & Marketing background.
  • At least 8 years of work experience in marketing & corporate events. Experience in Network Marketing/Direct Selling or FMCG or Retail Sales or Nutritional Food Industry would be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Power Point) and email.
  • Must possess a hands on and strong leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate  team with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Be sufficiently bi-cultural to be equally at ease and socially comfortable with the local team and distributors/customers plus other nationalities esp. International Distributors, within a multinational working environment. 
  • Must be customer service oriented and able to be flexible especially dealing with Local and International distributors.
  • Highly energetic and possessing the enthusiasm to understand the market thoroughly, as well as the ability to keep in close contact with distributors/customers in order to gain firsthand knowledge of market forces. 
  • Ability to develop business strategies and plans, at the same time ensuring proper execution of strategies to meet both sales and organizational goals.
  • Possess problem solving skills.
  • Able to work in results orientated environment and meet tight deadlines.
