Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies. Our respected client is seeking an executive with extensive experience as the Sales & Operations Manager of a well established Retail Company, preferably with at least 5 years’ of experience with retail/consumer goods company for the job of Sales and Operations Manager, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Manage all activities related to 30 store operations management in Indonesia.
  • Directly report to the Brand Manager and works in close collaboration with supporting departments namely Brand Manager, Finance, HR and Logistics.
  • Achieve weekly and seasonal budgeted sales by optimizing staff productivity, understanding the various levers within the scope of the Sales & Operations Manager.
  • Accountable for retail staff development through the various store operations programs mandated by the company
  • Accountable for maintaining and building the store experience – customer service
  • Support the Brand Manager for in-season management decisions and ensure optimal execution at store level and/or digital.
  • Keep abreast of styling and trends’ opportunities in the region and communicate customer preferences to the territory Operations team
  • Acts as key liaison for all landlords communications – new locations , rental negotiations
  • Acts as effective liaison role for all supporting departments (Brand Manager, Store Planning, IT, Finance, Logistics) to help address specific challenges and ensure business is optimized.
  • Review and work with Brand Manager on approve seasonal blends by department
  • Review and work with Brand Manager on approve seasonal Assortment Plan and complete size curve analysis
  • Review and work with Brand Manager on approve seasonal and weekly sales budgets
  • Work closely with Brand Manager on Seasonal Event Calendar / Spring and Fall

Key job requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (min.) from reputable university.
  • Five years’ experience managing fashion retail business with in depth knowledge of standalone branded store management.
  • Strong leader with emphasis on people development, training and coaching and constantly building a winning team.
  • Strong analytical skills and able to deliver targets consistently through sales management KPI’s specially – transaction, traffic conversion and staff productivity.
  • A good sense of fashion knowledge and trends and the candidate should be well groom and fashionable.
