Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing industrial instrument and equipment trading company. Our respected client is seeking a professional with at least 4 years’ experience in technical sales for the job of Sale Engineer. The job is based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Job summary

The Sales Engineer will be targeting prospective lead in Thailand. The Sales Engineer is responsible for presale and post-sale administration activities. He or she will generate quotation for customers in the pharmaceutical industry, F&B sector, and other institutions in Thailand. Key job responsibilities include:

  • Performs all sales activity within an assigned geographic territory to meet company objectives.
  • Annually submits and implements a detailed sales action plan identifying: On-line Process and sales objectives, sales opportunities for customers.
  • Participates in sales activities including key customer site visits, develop market share through online, trade seminars/shows, workshops, product demonstrations
  • Submit annually, monthly and weekly sales forecast to Sales Manager
  • Maintains customer activity files
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager, Application Engineer and Marketing team, to drive the business through the existing strategy
  • Collects and reports information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory.

Key job requirements include:

  • Engineering degree in Chemical, Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent experience. Alternate science degrees will be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales, business development, customer service, and account management experience.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal/ influencing skills would also be required with respect to internal & external customers.
  • Broad experience with industrial sector
  • Work under pressure, making important or difficult decision at work, cooperate with others to achieve a team goal
  • Good English communication, reporting to expatriate.
