Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia’s Health Division is recruiting on behalf of a leading medical supplier company. The Company offers a diverse array of innovative products and services that help to improve patient and hospital outcomes. Our client is seeking a sales professional with at least 2-3 years’ experience in medical device sales with a proven history of success for the job of Sales Executive (Orthopaedic). The job is based in Malacca.

The Sales executive is responsible for daily sales marketing activities (promotion, launch, case attendance, in-service etc.) within assigned sales territory.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide monthly sales forecast, meeting sales budget and case attendance for the assigned product portfolio and sales territory 
  • Identify business opportunities, formulates account strategies and ensure effective implements of territory action plans 
  • Carry out sales and marketing activities, responsible to support marketing initiatives including trade show (exhibition) other key events and promotions such as workshops, company receptions etc. 
  • Build trust and credibility with customers 
  • Assists sales and marketing manager to support the company’s sales agents 
  • To conduct regular consignment count 
  • To coordinate payment collection as per company’s SOP 
  • To provide regular market/competitor updates 
  • Prompt complaints handling adhering as per company’s SOP 
  • Assisting customer enquiries and provide quotation as needed 
  • Forecast stock requirement based on the market feedback and quotation participated  
  • To assist in overseeing uncovered sales territory

Job requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Nursing, Science, Biomedical or equivalent 
  • 2-3 years’ medical device experience 
  • Knowledge of Orthopaedic Product (Trauma, Spine) 
  • Good client relationship management 
  • Good selling, negotiation and presentation skills 
  • Meeting sales goals and target 
  • Produce creative, sales planning, independence, motivation for sales 
  • Able to work as an individual contributor
