Job Description

  • Responsible for Project/Product Sales in the Municipal & vertical market (s) in China to ensure achievement of goals and objectives through own activities and coordinating sales activities.
  • This position coordinates with the bid and proposal group, third party sales channels, and indirect sales channels, customers, end users in the respective Markets (Municipal).
  • Sales Management – to execute procedural, operational, and strategic initiatives to ensure successful growth and profitability in the assigned vertical market(s).
  • Customer Relations - Develops and executes strategy for retention of account base and development of new accounts. Maintains accurate and current CRM data, enables up-to-date project lists and bookings forecasts for the assigned vertical market(s).
  • Works collaboratively with Marketing and Product Management to gather voice of customer, market intelligence, trends and future customer requirements and designs and tailors specific wastewater treatment products to meet these needs.
  • Support representation of market vertical at tradeshows if needed.
  • Be conversant with the product line and its relevant fit to the vertical market(s) and their value propositions.
  • Maintain focus on compliance and internal risk control processes in all business dealings; internally and externally.
  • Working closely with the Division’s Director of International Sales and product teams as necessary to identify and enter into agreements with potential licensing partners for the technologies of demand in China from WWT the portfolio.
  • Working closely with existing and new licensees in training, supporting and conducting periodic reviews against set targets

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 5 years (10 years preferred) Sales experience in Municipal & Industrial Water and Wastewater Treatment.
  • Consultative and negotiating sales skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in Sales techniques
  • Strong communication capability in both Mandarin and English.
  • Microsoft Office tools.
  • Degree in Engineering field (Mechanical / Chemical / Environmental) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic Knowledge of Sales processes, closing sales calls, negotiation, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others in a relevant area.
  • Possess the ability to interact with international/inter-, intra-company work groups.
