Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a well-known manufacturer of chemicals. Our client, a corporation with over a century of history and listed in the Fortune 500, is seeking a sales professional with at least 5 years’ experience and advanced English and Mandarin communication skills for the job of Sales Manager. The job is based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Reporting to the Country Business Head, the Sales Manager will work closely not only with sales but with other related departments, like customer services, to develop the business strategy and achieve the sales goals of the company.

Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales targets of assigned products
  • Follow the business strategies for customers and sales, marketing activities to achieve and develop annual sales targets
  • Visit existing and prospective customers to widen client base and grow the potential for sales activities
  • Determine the client’s needs to make sales forecasts, propose products, and ensure delivery schedules 
  • Train & assist customers in technical information and the application of products
  • Conduct market intelligence to develop business strategies
  • Work closely with related departments (marketing, customer service, technical, R&D…) to serve customer requirements
  • Conduct general credit controlling acivities

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
  • At least 5 years sales experience with a proven track records of sales performance
  • Experience in the Chemical industry is highly preferable
  • Good communication in both English and Mandarin
