Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group’s Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a multinational client that provides surveying products and solutions to the engineering and construction industry. With a business presence all over the world, our client has been renowned as a market leader in the industries they serve in. As the business continues to expand rapidly in Indonesia, they are now seeking a Sales Manager to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetingsIn charge of liaising with relevant government department for potential project related matters.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develops and negotiates strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhances company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.

Key job requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in any relevant field
  • 10 years of experience in business development, projects or construction.
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong Organisation Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal and Written
  • Proven ability to negotiate
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  • Good market knowledge.
