The Sales and Distribution Manager is a Country Representative of the brand, who will maintain existing and develop new customers and partnerships, as well as execute sales and marketing strategies to increase business in automation territory. Responsibilities included the complete sales development plan, product consultation, managing the relationships, dealing with pricing enquiries, and growing market share of industrial automation whilst improving margin contribution and cash.

Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for increasing sales volume and sales activity of industrial automation products.
  • Develop direct accounts in Automotive, OEM, F&B or Pharmaceutical manufacturing segmentations and build partner selling or B2B channel through distributors.
  • Maintain key business relationships with existing clients and channels.
  • Achieve Sales target through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing data on past performance, and projecting future performance.
  • Identify and approach potential clients in different industries and identify and approach new qualified channel partners in different industries.
  • Creative selling approaches through lead generation & effective customer relationship Management
  • Mapping potential customers and generate leads for the organization along with new opportunities for the organization
  • Recommend or approve budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development, automation, and integration costs for clients.
  • Collect market information and review market analyses to determine client needs, competitor information and market conditions.
  • Provide Management periodically on time, visit plans, visit reports, relevant market news, customer information and Competitor activities and information.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and optimize market share.
  • Communicate with regional support functions such as product management, application engineering, after sales service & internal sales teams to achieve the targeted business growth & effective customer engagement
  • Responsible for brand promotion activities, Support management in regional exhibitions to create brand awareness

Job Requirement

  • Thai nationality, Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Automation Control engineering.
  • Extensive sales experienced in sales and marketing capacity with Industrial Automation products: Automation components/ Capex item portfolio with Automotive and emerging industry segments like Medical, Electronics and Electrical
  • Experienced working with machine automation or process automation products will be a plus
  • Experience in field sales, customer marketing, and/or category management in addition to knowledge of working with key or strategic accounts.
  • Strong in technical sales, solution and value selling, consultative selling is key and channel management would be advantage
  • High sense of drive and urgency, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as homebased.
  • Fluency in written and oral communication (English)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
