Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a leading BnB operator and property management company in Malaysia. Our respected client is seeking a certified revenue specialist with at least 3 years of experience in property management for the job of Senior Revenue Specialist – OTA. The job is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Senior Revenue Specialist will explore Hotel OTA sales & marketing strategy, creative selling skills, ability to manage the Sales & Revenue from different hotel OTA channels. Implement revenue management strategy and process in the Hotel in order to optimize and maximize its revenue.

Job responsibilities:

  • Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage the day to day field operations
  • Create monthly sales campaign and measure the performance outcome 
  • Conduct daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustment and reporting 
  • Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends 
  • Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel 
  • Provide a weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons 
  • Work in liaison with hotel sales and reservations departments as a team
  • Regularly check the input and the quality of date (segmentation, denials tracking, etc) points
  • Conduct Quarterly property performance review and develop a strategic and tactical action plan
  • Responsible for best practice standards including competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market modelling, distribution yield management, business mix yield management, length of stay yield management, inventory availability by channel, pricing control and new pricing concepts
  • Prepare an outline for and support the annual revenue budget process

Job requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field 
  • At least 3 years of working experience in property management 
  • Expertise in Hotel OTA platforms (, Agoda, Expedia and Other) 
  • Market Sensitivity on the hotel pricing trends 
  • Demonstrate a good working relationship with other departments with a high level of communication and co-operation in the interests of service and overall improvement in the working conditions at the Hotel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Hotel systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly analytical and commercial minded
