Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group’s Industrial Division is retained by an established multinational that builds injection moulding machinery. Our respected client is seeking a qualified Service Manager with at least 7 years’ experience. This position can be based in either Malaysia or Singapore.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a team of service engineers in Malaysia, SIngapore and Indonesia. The applicant will be providing hands-on and remote support to machine users in these regions, as well as training his subordinates.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage the service team in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia consisting of Service Engineers and Spare Parts Administrator.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations in the customer service department.
  • Managing engineer’s schedules and plans resources for installations, upgrades and service.
  • Respond to customer service issues.
  • Customers single point of contact for service requests.
  • Develop customer satisfaction goals.
  • Provide Hotline 1st level support and local Technical Support.
  • Service administration.
  • Managing spare parts administration.
  • Manage service reporting.
  • Actively drives and supports ‘After Sales Products’ and ‘Service activities’.
  • Plan engineers training activities.

Job requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in any related engineering or technical field.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in service of heavy machinery (pneumatic, hydraulics and electrical).
  • People management experience is essential.
  • Relevant servicing experience in similar industries. 
  • Open to candidates based in Malaysia or Singapore. Valid work authorization required. 
  • Open to travel extensively across Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
