Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a well-established packaging manufacturing companies in Asia. Our respected client is seeking a technical improvement professional to analyze, strategize and improve the whole of the supply chain unit. This business critical role will see you involved in the planning, executing, organizing, and carrying out of large-scale improvement projects across procurement, supply chain and delivery. The job is based in Bangkok

This highly strategic role will see you strategizing, planning, organizing, and carrying out large-scale inbound and outbound management projects, including demand and supply planning, material management, inventory and logistic, as well as procurement. He or she will be able to review data and then enacts a plan in order to make improvements to the supply chain system.

Job responsibilities

  • Implement the overall operational strategy for on-time and in-full fulfillment of product demand, across all plants.
  • Working with the Head of Supply Chain to come up with plant management strategies. Identify key factors that allow supply chain operations to achieve the business competitive advantage and deliver business results.
  • Leads both inbound and outbound teams in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Directs and coordinates global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to materials coming in and product going out to meet the changing levels of product demand.
  • Leading the development & execution of the local strategic approach to corporate procurement, material management and planning process for the purchase of direct and indirect goods and services that delivers a competitive advantage driving the strategic supplier initiatives.
  • Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
  • Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
  • Optimize and planning on balancing revenue maximization, making sure that each order meet customer requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of inventory management to optimize inventory targets, drive inventory reduction program
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time in-full delivery targets are achieved.
  • Develop and manage plant’s budget and spending in support of company objectives for cost control while maintaining effectiveness.
  • Manage the operations costs and budgets; strive to improve the overall financial and key performance indicators of the business

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes in manufacturing and fast pace industry
  • Actively seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory
  • Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with vendors
  • Proven track record in delivering manufacturing and supply chain best practice
  • Top-level understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes
  • Ability to research companies and determine the best vendors to reach out to for various projects
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Able to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans
