Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company. Our respected client is seeking a Supply Chain Section Manager to be based in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Supply Chain Section Manager will be responsible for the logistic and warehouse management of the company, including demand planning and procurement. This is a challenging job opportunity for a motivated professional who is looking to step up to a managerial position.

Job responsibilities:

  • Strategically leads the team in executing best practices to ensure smooth logistic operation
  • Directs and coordinates supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimisation, profitability maximisation, and KPIs, resulting in the maximisation of customer satisfaction
  • Ensures accurate planning to be reviewed in the S&OP meeting by management
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand
  • Works with concerned departments to determine effective distribution solutions for products and material transportation
  • Monitors and collaborates with third party companies or related parties to attain the best supply chain solutions
  • Monitors corrects inventory levels, analyze demand and supply requirements
  • Develops a cost-effective supply chain strategy to improve and maximise profits
  • Collaborates with the procurement department to determine best practices

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Experienced in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management
  • Experienced working with Third party logistics companies will be a plus.
  • Fundamental supply chain understanding in material and demand planning
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel regularly to different sites and subsidiary companies
  • Good English communication skills
