Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting a Biomedical Manager on behalf a leading multinational dialyses service provider company. The role will directly report to the Country Head and will lead a team of biomedical technicians responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of dialysis-related medical equipment across multiple dialysis centers. This is a hybrid role that combines managerial responsibilities with hands-on technical work. Role requires onsite / field work across multiple centers nationwide. Head office is based in Makati City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of biomedical technicians across all dialysis centers.
- Personally perform repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance as needed.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and routine servicing of dialysis machines, water treatment systems, and related medical equipment.
- Ensure timely execution and documentation of preventive maintenance activities.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and take direct action to resolve issues.
- Monitor inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables; coordinate with procurement as necessary.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) related to biomedical operations.
- Ensure compliance with DOH, ISO, and internal quality and safety standards.
- Conduct periodic audits of equipment functionality and maintenance documentation.
- Provide training and technical support to biomedical technicians and dialysis nurses.
- Generate performance and maintenance reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and technological updates relevant to dialysis equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field.
- PRC-licensed engineer is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in biomedical engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Hands-on experience with dialysis machines and water treatment systems is required.
- Strong understanding of DOH regulations, ISO standards, and quality control for medical equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and equipment management systems.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willing to travel to various branches across the Philippines.
