Our respected client is seeking an accounting professional for a Finance and Accounting Senior Manager role for a PLC that is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the company.
The Finance and Accounting Senior Manager will be taking care of the financial well-being of all departments, maintaining accurate records of financial statements, assisting with decisions regarding policy and strategy, and identifying financial risks and opportunities for the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the company's overall financial strategy, policy, and operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and GAAP.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage a team of finance and accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments and senior management to support company initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Support Investor relations and Company Secretary with necessary information and data.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to optimize results and drive growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure the effective implementation of internal controls and risk management systems.
- Participate in key negotiations and business deals, providing financial analysis and support.

Job Requirements
- At least Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA).
- Extensive years of experience in accounting and finance, with proven experience in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., local GAAP).
