Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of an innovative leader within the manufacturing of spray adhesives technology. Our esteemed client provides a wide range of adhesives solutions to industries such as composite materials, construction, woodworking, hvac and many others. With an expanding business across Asia, they are currently looking for an individual with extensive experience involving regional sales dealing with adhesives solutions for the composite materials for the positions of Regional Business Development Manager, Asia.

Job summary:
The Regional Business Development Manager would ideally be based in Kuala Lumpur and responsible for the growth and support of a dynamic and fast growing, changing business. This role has a key focus on customer planning, support and growth of a specific adhesive products for the Malaysian and Asia Region. This role shall provide composite expertise and support to all company'staff in the Asia Pacific region. You shall poses, develop and maintain an extensive network in the composite industry across Asia.

Job Responsibilities:
In Accordance with the Company's Distributor Program…

  • Develop and execute a distribution growth strategy for your region
  • establish new distribution channels and bring on new distribution partners
  • develop existing distribution partners businesses and increase Company's revenue in line with your KPIs
  • Set and attend quarterly strategy, goals and feedback sessions with your distributors
  • Provide distributors with regular on-going product and sales training formally and informally
  • Provide product expertise and solutions to issues that distributors and clients may encounter with Company's products
  • Work with the marketing department to deliver marketing value to distributors

Key Accounts & General

  • Seek out and develop solutions for high value complex industrial key account opportunities
  • Represent Company's at industry trade shows and events, travelling nationally or internationally as required
  • Travel interstate regularly to visit and support your region
  • Develop your industry knowledge in order to attain and support clients in the following industries Joinery, Flooring, Furniture & Upholstery, HVAC, Composites, Transport, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Mining, Marine
  • To work with management and the R&D department across complex adhesive solutions being the glue between the client and the company
  • To provide market feedback to management and the R & D department
  • Document and maintain client information and interaction details in a company's system
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with all OHS requirements
  • Follow the company's policies and procedures
  • Strive to achieve your KPI's
  • Attend staff meetings in HQ or online as requested
