Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a global leader within the chemicals industry.
Job summary:
The Successful candidate will be responsible for providing external customer support and internal support functions relative to SAP Regional Master Data, Master Data entry and management across all processes and systems, quality assurance and continuous improvement of the Master Data supporting SAP processes in compliance with company policy and applicable Service Level Agreement. This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Ensure the business data consistency, integrity, and accuracy
- Effective Master Data entry and management across all processes and systems, quality assurance and continuous improvement of the Master Data supporting SAP process
- Ensure proper filing and management of all Master Data request (Customer application form, Vendor application form, Material Master request form, etc.)
- Clear mapping of master data to work streams
- Maintenance of Master Data in compliance with company policy and applicable Service Level Agreement
- Responsible for GIN code application and relevant SAP No. for the countries
- Establish/maintain user profile as per approval by business owner
- Establish/maintain the customer selling price as per approval by business owner/authorized person
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Design and maintain Master Data Management procedures, forms, and documentation (process flows, user guides)
Customer Requests and Complaints:
- Monitor the resolution of internal customer request and attend to them timely to avoid any delay in the day to day operations
- Follow up all internal customer enquiries
QSHE Compliance:
- Maintain safe working conditions and practices to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record within the area of responsibility
- Perform work duties in accordance with Quality System Manual procedures & company policy

- Change ERP templates
Key job requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT/Business or any other relevant degree
- 1 to 2 years of prior experience in the areas of SAP Master Data management
- Ambition to develop career in Supply Chain Management
- Good knowledge of business processes and business transactions including process flows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (passion for data and accuracy)
- Good Communication (ability to collaborate and influence across various functions on aspects related to Master Data)
- Working knowledge of Lotus Notes
- Change management skills and ability to develop them further through conduct of training related to Master Data Management
- Ability to input data quickly and accurately and function in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure and analyze problems with minimum supervision
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office), prior experience with ERP systems is an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Melayu is an added advantage
